INitial appointments
All initial appointments are consultation appointments. I will perform a full psychiatric evaluation and provide feedback about diagnoses and a treatment plan, taking into account your input and preferences. The consultation is designed so that the physician and patient can determine by the end of the appointment whether to continue working together. If you consent, I will be your treating psychiatrist.
If at any point during treatment either the physician or the patient decide that the patient would be better served by receiving treatment elsewhere, this will be discussed and appropriate referrals provided to the patient.
cancellations
Please make cancellations within 24 business hours. Cancellations made in less than 24 business hours will be billed in full. Exceptions made on a case by case basis.

payments
I do not accept insurance, which means I am an out-of-network physician for any kind of insurance reimbursement. Because of this, I am unable to directly file claims as a form of payment but do encourage you to submit claims to your insurance company and/or utilize any out-of-network benefits or HSA accounts. I will be glad to provide you with a specialized invoice at the time of payment that contains all pertinent information to file a claim.
If you have Medicare as either a primary or secondary insurance, you may see me but are not permitted under Medicare to file a claim for reimbursement. Patients with Medicaid insurance are not allowed to see an out-of-network physician under any circumstance.
Cost of treatment will be provided during the initial telephone consultation.
Payment is due in full at the time of service. I accept cash, checks, or credit card.
