I do NOT prescribe Suboxone (Buprenorphine/Naloxone) for opiate addiction.
I do NOT prescribe controlled substances such as Benzodiazepines or Stimulants other than when absolutely indicated or there are no other alternatives. Research shows that these medications are only intended for short term use, are not safe over long periods of time, and have significant side effects. If you come to me already on them, I will work with you to determine alternate options or develop a plan to taper off them in a timely and safe way. I will not write refills for these prescriptions during the first visit.
